Fire
Fire, like a domesticated animal, can be fiercely protective or wildly destructive – much like our own spiritual nature which exhibits inclinations toward both ‘feral’ and civilised expressions.
In the process of learning to tame the primitive fire, we have learned also how to tame our primitive selves, and it is through the advancement of this, our relationship with the anthropogenic fire, (now the ‘Third Fire’ as Macauley describes), that we must learn to also wield our technology according to a future manifestation of a ‘Fourth Fire’.
The next phase of our planetary advancement will continue to require the alignment of ‘subject to object’ or ‘idea to material’ in seeking an alchemical union, or yoking, akin to what has been described in yogic practice.

So our journey of self-embodiment continues alongside that of the planet…
